• Every part of the site can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, and you can always see which item you are on.
• There is a skip to content link as the first thing you reach with the keyboard.
• Every form field has a real label attached to it, not just grey text inside the box.
• Form errors are announced and tied to the field they belong to, and they are never shown with color alone.
• Every photo has a written description, in the language the page is set to.
• Each page has one main heading, and the headings below it go in order.
• Text is tested for contrast against its background.
• The menu on phones can be closed with the Escape key, keeps the keyboard inside it while it is open, and sends you back to the button you opened it with.
• Motion on the site stops if your device is set to reduce motion.
• The site works at up to 200% zoom and on small screens without losing content.

• The map on some pages comes from Google and sits inside our page. We do not control how it works with a keyboard or a screen reader. So that you never need it, the shop address, phone number, and hours are written in plain text at the bottom of every page, and there is a directions link next to them.
• The dashed stitch line that decorates our cards and panels is low contrast against its background, measured at about 1.9 to 1. We left it that way on purpose because it is decoration made to look like sewing, it carries no information, and nothing depends on seeing it.
• Both English and Spanish are built into every page and a button switches between them. If JavaScript is turned off, the page shows English only.
• The tape measure strip under the header fills in as you scroll. Because it follows your scrolling rather than running on a timer, it does not respond to the reduce motion setting. It is decorative and sits behind the header.
• The spam protection badge on the contact page is a Google widget in the corner of the screen. Its appearance and behavior are set by Google, not by us.
• Some of our photos show fine detail such as beadwork and lace. The written descriptions name the color, the fabric, and the shape, but they cannot carry every detail of a dress.

• El mapa de algunas páginas viene de Google y va dentro de nuestra página. No controlamos cómo funciona con teclado o lector de pantalla. • El inglés y el español están los dos en cada página y un botón cambia entre ellos. Si JavaScript está apagado, la página se ve solo en inglés.
• La cinta métrica debajo del encabezado se va llenando conforme bajas. Como sigue tu desplazamiento en vez de correr con un temporizador, no responde a la configuración de reducir movimiento. Es decorativa y va detrás del encabezado.
• La insignia de protección contra spam en la página de contacto es un widget de Google en la esquina de la pantalla. Su apariencia y su comportamiento los define Google, no nosotros.
• Algunas de nuestras fotos muestran detalles finos como pedrería y encaje. Las descripciones escritas dicen el color, la tela y la forma, pero no pueden cargar cada detalle de un vestido.
